Pharmacotherapeutic group:
A medicinal product primarily used in gynecology.
Pharmacological properties:
Sophora root (Radix Sophora) contains rutin, kaempferol-3-sophoroside, quercetin-3-rutinoside, genistein-4-sophorabioside, and flavone glycosides. It has antimicrobial activity and stimulates regeneration.
Saffron crocus (Safranum Crocus) contains safranal, crocetin, other glycosides, saccharides, flavonoids, vitamins A, C and B-group vitamins, pinene, cineole, carotenoids, other carbohydrates, iron, potassium, zinc, selenium, magnesium, calcium, and manganese. It relieves spasms and congestion in the pelvic organs, improves blood supply, and increases local immunity. As a result, the condition and function of the genitourinary organs are normalized; in women, the patency of the fallopian tubes is increased.
Peppermint root (Radix Mentha Piperita) contains numerous biologically active substances: phytoncides inhibit the growth of pathogenic bacteria; menthol acts as an antiseptic and anesthetic; essential oils dilate blood vessels and have antispasmodic and anti-inflammatory effects; rutin reduces vascular permeability; vitamins A, B, C and D support immunity; tannins disinfect wounds and help combat inflammation of mucous membranes. Due to its rich composition, peppermint has antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, soothing, and vasodilating properties.
White peony root (Radix Alba Peony) contains theophylline, caffeine, and similar compounds. These substances help destroy pathogenic bacteria and prevent viral multiplication in the body. As a result, the body's anti-inflammatory and antiviral activity increases and existing inflammatory processes subside.
Phellodendron (Phellodendron) has medicinal properties associated with its chemical composition. The plant contains flavonoids, catechins, tannins, pectins, B-group vitamins, ascorbic acid, and trace elements. Its main properties include anti-inflammatory, analgesic, wound-healing, antioxidant, and immunostimulating effects.
Sage root (Radix Salvi Officinalis) contains essential oils, tannins, ursolic, oleanolic and chlorogenic acids, vitamin P, nicotinic acid, phytoncides, and other biologically active compounds. It has local antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and astringent effects.
Sea buckthorn oil (Olei Hippophae) stimulates reparative processes in skin and mucosal lesions of various etiologies (wounds, radiation damage, burns, ulcers). It has a general restorative effect and antioxidant and cytoprotective properties. It reduces the intensity of free-radical processes and protects cell membranes from damage. Its pharmacological effect is associated with the presence of carotene (provitamin A), tocopherols (vitamin E), and other lipophilic substances.
Pharmacokinetics:
In accordance with the International Convention (EMEA/HMPWG/11/99), isolated investigation of pharmacokinetic parameters is not required when conducting clinical trials of medicinal products of plant origin.
